As the CEO for IBS Building Products for the past 23 years, Jason has seen his company continue to grow and expand. His training as a Civil Engineer after school has certainly helped him understand the ins and outs of the Building Industry.
A focus on ticking the 3 boxes of quality, price, and service has been the company mantra which Jason has introduced and the staff at IBS live by it every day.

Garry, or Skippy as he prefers is our National Sales Manager, overseeing sales throughout the company via our very reputable Account Managers.
Skippy loves selling and loves the challenge of the chase to get a sale. His customers always come first and many of them have become very good friends.
In his spare time, Skippy enjoys some Golfing and Scuba Diving and some occasional “cruising” of Auckland City
Sam Gilmour is our key account manager for Auckland and Northland. Sam has 12 years trade sales, account management and customer service experience. He has a strong understanding of the merchant environment and enjoys building long-term relationships and tailoring solutions to issues or problems.
Golfing is a large part of Sam’s life, and when he’s not at the club he will be working on his Hunua property with his wife and two girls.
Josh has been working for IBS from a young age in various roles where needed. He is now the Product Manager here, mainly specializing with our OSB products.
He loves the outdoors completing the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and Outward Bound. He also enjoys keeping active with rock climbing, tramping, sea kayaking as well as various sports.
On the weekend in his free time, he enjoys golf, movies and spending time with friends and family.
Edmond is the Purchasing Manager here at IBS, he makes sure we have the right stock levels for the right products to supply our customers.
He strives to do his best and is extremely focused and hardworking, never wanting to leave the customer disappointed. He loves a challenge and always finishes what he sets out to do.
In his spare time he loves spending time with his family as well as exploring new places around New Zealand.
Ashish is our dispatcher at IBS, making sure customer orders are picked and delivered in a timely manner. He also helps take care of customer queries and processing orders.
Having been with IBS since 2011, Ashish has in depth knowledge of operations and processes at the company and always strives to make sure customers get their products on time.
Johanna is part of our customer service team, involved in processing orders, answering phone/email enquiries and making sure our sales reps are well looked after.
She comes from a family of athletes, which has influenced her in being driven and determined in everything she does, as well as being very sporty and active person.
In her free time, Johanna enjoys having a laugh with family and friends and days out at the beach.
Since becoming a part of the IBS customer services team, Hardy has learnt a lot about the building industry and the many products. Hardy is usually the first point of contact when our customers ring in and is always there to help and assist with any queries or help needed. He enjoys the team environment here at IBS and is always eager to gain more knowledge on the industry.
Hardy has previously lived in Sydney, Melbourne and Phnom Penh. After getting married, he knew that he wanted to move back to Auckland City where he grew up.
In his down time Hardy enjoys the company of his family and friends with music and travelling added in.
Jan is our Financial Controller here at IBS. She does our accounting and payroll, and is also the voice of reason when things are not in order. She has a long haired staff member named Gaia, a German Shepherd of course whose roles consist of sleeping in the office and being IBS head of security.
Outside of work, Jan is a Restorative Justice Facilitator for the Justice Department and she enjoys a bit of target shooting in her spare time.
Lynne came to us with considerable experience in Credit Management especially in the building industry.
She manages our cash flow, processes applications for new customers, and our credits.
Outside of work Lynne is creative, enjoying wool felting, jewellery making, mosaicking, and many other creative mediums.
She loves the arts, including movies, theatre, music, and attending gallery exhibitions, with friends and family.
Rod is the warehouse manager here at IBS and also one of the longest serving employees having been part of the team for over 15 years. He has experience in many aspects of the business having worked in various roles with in the company.
In his spare time, he loves heading out to sea for that big catch! He also supports the Auckland Blues.
